RFP: Nyberg Creek Trail Construction Documents & Professional Services

Summary

The City of Tualatin requests proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Documents and Professional Services for the Nyberg Trail Project based upon the scope of work contained in this RFP. The City will screen and select prospective consultants as provided in ORS 279C.110. Proposals will be received until 2:00 pm local time, on March 27 2024, via email to khein@tualatin.gov. Consultants are invited to submit a proposal demonstrating their project understanding, capabilities, experience, expertise, approach, organization, project team, communication, and equity, inclusion and diversity focus.

No proposal will be considered unless fully completed in a manner provided in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) document. Any proposal received after the closing time will not be accepted or considered.

RFP documents may be downloaded, viewed or printed from the City of Tualatin’s online bid management website https://bids.tualatinoregon.gov after creating an account and logging in.

Proposers are required to certify non-discrimination in employment practices, and identify resident status as defined in ORS 279A.120. Pre-qualification of proposers is not required. All proposers are required to comply with the provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes and Local Contract Review Board (LCRB) Policy.

The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so.

Bid/RFP Results

The City received six proposals that are under review from the following consultants: Pacific Community Design (PCD), NV5, PBS Engineering and Environmental Inc., 3J Consulting, Wallis Engineering, and MIG. Update on 4/11/2024 – Listed in alphabetical order, 3J Consulting, MIG, and PBS Engineering & Environmental will be interviewed for the award of this project. Update 4/30/2024 - After interviewing the top three consultants, the City intends to award the project to MIG. A notice of Intend to Award containing the cumulative scores is located in the Planholder Documents.
